This two-hour webinar will feature an interview with Secretary of State Antony Blinken exploring how U.S. diplomatic work impacts the lives of the American people and how studying abroad furthers the State Department’s foreign policy mission. IEW 2020 was held in a largely online format due to COVID-19 safety precautions. The 2020 IEW took place from November 16-22. 

Monday, November 16

  • SLS-France: French Immersion Program at Georgia Tech Lorraine Information Session (2 PM - 3 PM)
    • Focused on sustainability, the Serve-Learn-Sustain (SLS) – France Program allows students at an intermediate level (FREN 2001) of French or above to dive deeper into French language and culture during their time at Georgia Tech-Lorraine. Tune in to the information session on November 16th at 4pm to learn more about the program and hear from special guest Jean-Jacques Gaumet from the University of Lorraine!
  • Post-Election Immigration Discussion (3 PM)
    • Immigration attorney, Dan Berger will host a post-election analysis of what to expect with immigration in the next four years.
